SACRAMENTO CITY BELLA
1803 Sutter left Switzerland and came to New York in 1834, four or five years later came to Yerba Buena (now San Francisco) Sacramento at that time was a part of Mexico, Sutter met a Mexican to get a grant from the land of the Governor Juan Bautista Alvarado. The Mexican land grant were 198 km2 (an area larger than the European nation of Liechtenstein) Helvitia naming the land and in 1840 began construction of Fort Sutter, known as (Sutters Fort) which remains one of the signs famous historic Sacramento (where I'm taking Embbo and Ariam) Helvitia worked as a unit of government. The Indian Army force Sutter was the largest in the world at that time 1830-1840, many immigrants came to live and work around Helvitia, founded a mill for construction in Coloma, California. Here was where the first gold discovery was made, many people believe that eventually erupted Helvitia Sutter as a city and I just called sacraments, No! in fact the City of Sacramento was first planned by the son of John Sutter. while the gold rush attracted flood of settlers in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. Jr. believed that money could lead to the beginning of a city, and was planned with a grid of numbered streets, which still exists, in downtown Sacramento, the streets are in alphabetical order and numbered. in 1950 the legislature officially recognized the city due to the influx of miners, the city grew rapidly in 1854 the legislature voted to make the state capital Sacramento , Capiotolio construction was started in 1860 and took his 14 years. The first newspaper was The Sacramento Union 1851. The first railroad began its construction in 1863.
Sacramento now has grown so much and new homes continue to be built in the city and suburbs
